Overview

How this system works

GENEO uses RAU-FIPRO X composite profiles. REHAU says the material provides profile rigidity and allows builds without internal steel reinforcement in suitable applications; the window-system sheet lists an 86 mm depth and glazing up to 53 mm. For a door, those profile facts do not by themselves describe the finished sash’s thermal or security performance.

Where it fits

This page describes a hinged door, not a lift-and-slide system. Before comparing options, say whether it is a main entrance or secondary access, whether it needs glazing, which opening direction fits the space and how much privacy you want.

What to compare before choosing

Unlike a SYNEGO HST door, GENEO does not move a large sash along a track. Choose first by passage type and swing clearance, then define infill, lock, threshold and dimensions. Window GENEO performance figures should not be presented as door figures.

Frequently asked questions

Does this page describe GENEO HST?

No. This page covers a hinged door. GENEO HST is a lift-and-slide solution for large openings and has a separate product page.

Does profile Uf give the door’s insulation?

Not by itself. The result depends on the complete door, its dimensions, infill, glass, hardware and installation.
