Overview
High-Design Slide is a side-sliding system with two tracks and two moving sashes. Each sash travels on its guide, so opening does not take up interior floor space like a hinged leaf. REHAU’s technical brochure lists sash heights up to 2.7 m. As the brochure belongs to an earlier product range, dimensions and hardware should be confirmed for the specific build.
It can suit a room with a table, counter or furniture beside the opening where the sash should move without clearing that area. Check the direction of travel, panel overlap and clear opening; it is not a folding door.
The key difference is two panels sliding in parallel and overlapping on tracks. This separates it from Panorama Swing, where leaves fold, and HST, where a large sash first lifts. Compare the movement, not only the glass area.
