Overview
SYNEGO SLIDE moves the sash parallel to the fixed pane. Opening does not require the swing clearance of a hinged leaf, which can be useful beside a table or walkway. REHAU lists a 156 mm system depth and glazing up to 51 mm; sash size, weight and performance depend on the build.
Consider this mechanism when useful furniture or a narrow walkway sits beside the opening. During measurement, check sash travel and the clear width when open. Ask for the glass and dimensions for the chosen layout, especially if noise or thermal comfort is a priority.
SYNEGO SLIDE is not HST: its sash travels parallel to the wall without a lift step. It is also different from folding Panorama Swing. Compare the mechanism, threshold and clear passage for balcony or terrace access.
